The kids say that this one is a ハクセキレイ, or a white wagtail.
Your kids are veritable fountains of knowledge when it comes to these Japanese birds. :D
As a matter of fact, I didn't capture the quarry I was really pursuing that morning... a bird I call "Li'l Green." I sometimes see it hopping around the tree or even the metal railing/bars outside my window, but I've never managed to get the camera out in time.
I hope the kids can help with that one too, when I get him!
